Stores are our network of locations that provide a smart key storage service, allowing you to securely store spare keys so that you can collect them should you get locked out. Our regular Stores are a variety of independent local businesses such as newsagents and cafés, and we have automated lockers outside supermarkets, retail parks and shops.

Let Me In is ideal for urban residents who want to:

  • Protect themselves from getting locked out of the house
  • Share occasional access to their apartment with friends or family

We take security very seriously at Let Me In. Keys in our regular Stores are stored securely and only handled by trained staff, and our automated lockers are fitted with security cameras. We will never ask you to provide us with your exact address, so the identity of your keys will be protected at all times. Whether you are using regular Stores or automated lockers, you’re able to track when your keys are collected and dropped off with our automatic notifications.

We currently offer a monthly plan at an introductory rate of £4.45 / month. There is no contract and you can cancel at any time.

We have just under 800 locations across the UK. If you live in a city your local Let Me In store is likely just around the corner. Head over to our Store Finder to find your nearest store.

After you subscribe you will receive an email with instructions on how to drop off your keys. This will include a 6-digit drop-off code. If you’re dropping off your keys at one of our regular stores, the staff will enter the code and attach one of our fobs. The keys will then be scanned and stored securely. If you’re using one of our automated lockers, just select ‘send a parcel‘ on the screen, enter the drop-off code, and place your keys inside the locker. Signing up only takes 30 seconds! Use our Store Finder page to find your local store. Highlight your store then hit the ‘Use this store’ button above the map. Then hit ‘Continue’ and you’ll be promoted for a few personal details and then your card details. You’ll soon receieve your welcome email with your 6-digit drop-off code.

If you’re dropping off your keys at one of our regular stores, the staff will enter the code and attach a KeyNest fob. The keys will then be scanned and stored securely in our safe. If you’re using one of our automated lockers, just select ‘Send A Parcel’ on the screen, enter the drop-off code, and place your keys inside the locker. That is where they’ll live, ready for when you need to come back to collect them.

KeyNest provides simple and secure key exchange solutions for Airbnb hosts, estate agents and property managers. We are partnering with KeyNest to deliver a simple and secure spare key storage solution for residents.

You return to the store or locker where you dropped off your keys. You can collect the key by giving your 6-digit collection code to the staff at our regular stores, or by entering the details into one of our automatic lockers. At our regular stores, you simply hand your keys back to the shopkeeper, who will scan them and place them back in our safe. If you’re using an automatic locker, keys can be returned by selecting ‘Send A Parcel’ on the locker screen, re-entering the collection-code that was used to collect the keys and placing them back inside the locker. Yes! All our stores and lockers are open and accessible 24/7, so your spare keys are available whenever you might need them.

KeyNest fobs are pretty sturdy, but if they’re damaged or lost give us a call on 02036 334599 and we’ll sort it out.

The safety of your keys is paramount to us. You can change your collection code at any time by emailing a request to our support at info@letme.in. Please email us from the address we have on file for you, and provide the name of your Let Me In store.
